You know what?
I give up on digital art. The effort is not worth the time I put into these projects just for them to be lost due to a program crash.
I have to run an XP package to run PS 7.0 and it still crashes.
Sai crashes too.
I CAN'T FIND A SINGLE WORKING TORRENT FOR ANY CS PROGRAMS.
I bet if I were to spend 600$ on PS CS6 I bet that would crash too, but at least it has "autosave" even though it took nearly 12 years for Adobe to throw that in!
I can run Spore and Internet Explorer with 5 tabs open and WLMM and they sure won't crash, but if I just have PS open by itself, the whole Windows Explorer crashes! Same with Sai!
I can spend 3 to 4 hours on tweaking the linearts and prepping them for the coloring steps, and then BOOM CRASH DATA LOST. Not even worth the effort I put into it the first time to try to redo it a second time, because the program'll just crash again! Yeah, I should save more often, but I shouldn't have to put up with crashing programs!
So I'm not going to do anymore digital projects on this computer. I'm tired of it. It's not worth my time anymore. If none of these "professional" programs are going to work for me I might as well not even try.
